On December 1 ‘Action Scénique’, the company of Claire Croizée, Etienne Guilloteau and Nada Gambier, moved in with fieldworks. Reason enough for fieldworks to open its doors and organize Field Works-office in its own spaces.
In their intimate and playful performances, Heine Avdal & Yukiko Shinozaki set out in search of the poetry of the everyday life. Field Works-office is a location-based project, which unravels the conventions of non-theatrical spaces. They seek to infiltrate different terrains and strata of society with artistic work. Codes and conventions in various types of spaces will be explored and discussed. Every location generates a certain kind of expectations and preconceptions of how we act in that specific space.
Specially for this occasion they collaborate with artists Arnaud Meuleman, Wouter Krokaert and Fabrice Moinet. Through the use of sound displacements and drawings, bodies and actions extend beyond their borders. By small shifts in reality, they create a dreamy, absurd, in-between world. It has the power to stimulate your imagination.
